Overview
Director of Sales & Marketing
Reports to: Senior Vice President & General Manager
The Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for developing and executing a national business development and marketing strategy for WYATT's Mechanical Services. This role leads growth initiatives, drives revenue, strengthens client relationships, and positions the company for long-term success across target markets.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement national sales and marketing strategies aligned with company growth objectives
- Lead new business development efforts and identify strategic market opportunities
- Build and maintain executive-level client relationships
- Direct sales activities, monitor performance, and adjust strategies based on market conditions
- Develop and identify prospects from current clients, referral leads and other sources
- Support major pursuits, including coordination with estimating and operations through final close
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
- Provide leadership input on active projects, client programs, and marketing initiatives
- Participate in "lessons learned" meetings upon completion of a project
- Promote a strong culture of safety, professionalism, and collaboration
- Travel as required to support business development and client engagement
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience
- 15+ years of experience in the construction and turnaround (TAR) industry
- Good working knowledge of, and language used in, relevant markets
- Proven success leading sales and marketing efforts for mechanical or industrial services
- Strong understanding of the full sales lifecycle, including closing complex opportunities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/sales tools
- Valid state-issued driver's license
