Responsibilities- Work with the on‑site manager to prepare maintenance and cleaning schedules; assign, perform, and supervise the work product.
- Oversee daily functions of the maintenance staff to ensure quality and timely completion of daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance and cleaning projects.
- Conduct daily inspections of cleaning, maintenance and repair projects to ensure that quality standards are met.
- Perform other maintenance related duties:
Direct and manage routine cleaning, maintenance and repair, including power washing, splotching, restriping, sweeping and commercial painting.
- Prior progressive supervisory or management experience in a transportation environment preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
- DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner’s Certificate) required.
- Availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or weekends as needed based on hiring needs.
- Experience ensuring compliance with federal (EPA Clean Water Act of 1977) and local laws and regulations related to water pollution preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Physical demands: The essential functions of this job include sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing, and balancing. The employee must also use arms and hands to reach and handle tools or controls and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Salary Range: $85,000 annually per year
