ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure all material is received into the warehouse and shipped to branches and customers in the most efficient manner.
- Ensure prompt deliveries and vendor pick-ups.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and serviced.
- Interface with Purchasing to ensure inventory is at appropriate levels.
- Ensure damaged or off-quality merchandise is reported to Purchasing.
- Coordinate cycle counts, identify which products should be inventoried monthly.
- Ensure inventory numbers are accurate.
- Resolve transfer and receiving discrepancies.
- Prepare departmental control overtime and expenses.
- Maintain an efficient and effective staff by interviewing and selecting qualified employees, overseeing departmental training, conducting performance reviews, recommending salary increases, transfers, promotions.
- Recommend, write, and deliver disciplinary measures in accordance to company guidelines.
- Ensure Health and safety compliance in accordance with company policy.
- Perform other duties as required.

- 3-5 years experience required, distribution background preferred.
- 2-4 years in leadership role
- Must possess strong communication, organization, delegation, and PC skills required.
Associates degree or equivalent from two-year College preferred.
Schedule:Onsite Monday to Friday
Physical Requirements:This work requires the following physical activities: climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 75 lbs. of material, finger dexterity for activities such as data entry and calculator use, grasping, repetitive motions, speaking, hearing, visual acuity, and mobility between locations. Use of both hands is required. This role is a safety sensitive position.
