Position Summary

Spire is currently seekinga

Managing

Consultantwithprovenconstruction scheduling and cost managementexperienceto supportongoingand future projects, while helping to advance the company’sstrategic vision.

Primary duties will encompass leading project controls functions including schedule management, risk management, earned value management,andcostandchange management on assigned projects.

Additionally,this role willsupportthe Project Controls teamin the management ofteam members,and execution to service line goals andKPI’s. This role will guide project teams through project management and project controls systems implementation, including forecasting, analysis, reporting, and dashboard development.

Responsibilities Technical
  • Review contract, specifications, and drawings to confirm design and construction schedule baselines and updates for comprehensiveness, quality, and constructability and risk.
  • Develop and implement cost administration and reporting systems including estimates, budgets, schedules,manhour, cost, and earned value reports.
  • Develop, analyze,and present

    Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules.
  • Reviewand analyze critical path, cost loading, schedule content,and forecasted work.
  • Identifyschedulelogic,relationships, constraints,optimal sequencing,and milestones.
  • Perform, confirm,and presentscheduleimpact analysis for change orders.
  • QA/QC review of schedule submissions for conformance.
  • Prepare reports for internal leadership and client stakeholders.
  • Support business development efforts through technicalexpertiseand client engagement.
  • Ensure all project control procedures are in place and being followed.
  • Participate in industry organizations and networks.
Engagement Management
  • Serveas theprojectlead,manage multiple project sand deliverables with individual deadlines.
  • Support business development through proposal preparation (scope, budgets, and resources plans).
  • Provide progress updates toseniormanagementandclient stakeholders.
  • Lead and encourage team collaboration and accountability.
  • Manage team members and delegate tasks accordingly.
  • Coordinate client meetings and project communication.
Education/Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering,Construction Management,or related discipline.
  • At least ten (10) yearsofproject controls experience
Skills
  • Proficiency in Primavera

    P6andrelated scheduling software.
  • Advanced understanding of key scheduling principles and concepts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills,communication,and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledgeable and proficientinproject management processes and procedures.
  • Highlevelof initiative, personal responsibility, and integrity.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude; willing topitch in wherever needed toassistthe team.
  • Experience with, or ability to learn, tools such as Timberline, RS means and MS project.
  • Possess a strong entrepreneurial drive and the desire to continually enhance professional capabilities with minimal supervision.
  • Strong writing, presentation, and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability tomanage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment,while meeting required goals and deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
