, based in Houston, to act as a strategic and executional force multiplier—especially focused on cracking the U.S. market. This is a high-impact, high-exposure role

As Chief of Staff to the CEO
, your role will be ~70% focused on U.S. market strategy and execution
, acting as a key driver of how Zubale enters, positions itself, and wins in the U.S. Over time, this role is expected to evolve into a senior executive position (e.g., GM, Strategy, Ops, or Commercial leadership).
- Lead deep analysis of the U.S. market: TAM sizing, segment prioritization, customer personas, and regional dynamics.
- Map the competitive landscape across logistics, last‑mile, marketplaces, SaaS, and hybrid players—identifying differentiation, pricing models, strengths, and gaps.
- Develop and iterate Zubale’s U.S. market entry and positioning strategy in close partnership with the CEO.
- Support early customer discovery and commercial conversations: participating in meetings with prospective U.S. clients, synthesizing customer feedback and objections, translating insights into product, pricing, and go‑to‑market recommendations, defining initial use cases, vertical focus, and beachhead customers.
- Build structured strategy materials and decision briefs to support fast, high‑quality executive decisions.
- Drive execution of the CEO’s top priorities, translating strategy into clear plans, owners, and timelines.
- Lead cross‑functional special projects that don’t neatly sit within one team.
- Ensure alignment across Product, Ops, Sales, and Finance, especially as U.S. initiatives ramp up.
- Prepare executive‑level materials for leadership meetings, board discussions, and investor updates.
- Track progress, risks, and dependencies, ensuring issues surface early and decisions are made quickly.
Required
- Proven 10+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, startups, or tech‑enabled businesses.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn messy data into clear strategic insight.
- Comfort engaging in early‑stage customer and commercial conversations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- High judgment, ownership mindset, and comfort working directly with senior leadership.
- Structured, detail‑oriented, and execution‑focused.
- Willingness to work hybrid from The Woodlands office (3 days/week).
Preferred
- Background in management consulting, strategy, or early‑stage company building.
- Experience with U.S. market entry, competitive analysis, or go‑to‑market strategy.
- Exposure to logistics, eCommerce, marketplaces, or SaaS.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
- Work directly with the CEO on defining and executing U.S. strategy.
- Front‑row seat to building a new market from the ground up.
- High ownership, high trust, and real executive exposure.
- Clear path to grow into a senior leadership role beyond Chief of Staff.
