Openwork is partnering with a respected industrial facility in Northeast Houston to hire a dependable Custodial Maintenance Technician. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and organized workplaces while supporting daily facility operations.

As a Custodial Maintenance Technician, you will play an important role in maintaining facility cleanliness and supporting light maintenance functions. Your work ensures that production areas, employee spaces, and shared environments remain safe, organized, and efficient for daily operations.

• Maintain floors and walkways by sweeping, mopping, and keeping work areas clear of hazards.
• Clean and sanitize production areas, equipment surfaces, and workstations.
• Remove debris and maintain organized work spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and equipment.
• Assist with light painting and minor facility maintenance projects.
• Maintain cleanliness in breakrooms, restrooms, and other shared areas.
• Empty and maintain trash bins and waste containers throughout the facility.
• Support outdoor upkeep, including trash removal and light grounds maintenance.
• Coordinate with equipment operators to safely clean around machinery.
• Provide additional facility support tasks as assigned.

• Monday–Friday.
• 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
• Occasional Saturday shifts may be required based on operational needs.

• Minimum 2 years of janitorial, custodial, or facility maintenance experience required.
• Comfortable working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
