Managing Technician

We are seeking a highly experienced Managing Cleaning Technician who will lead in the field, uphold our service standards, and help manage the day-to-day execution of appointments, equipment, and team performance.

This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for a skilled professional who is confident in both hands‑on cleaning and operational leadership.

The Managing Cleaning Technician is a field-based leadership role responsible for overseeing cleaning appointments, maintaining equipment and assets, supporting commercial sales efforts, and assisting with personnel management. This individual will serve as the standard‑bearer for quality, professionalism, and care while working directly in client environments.

Our team services high-end residential and commercial spaces across Houston, so attention to detail, discretion, and strong communication skills are essential.

• Manage and execute daily cleaning appointments from start to finish
• Lead and supervise technicians on job sites while maintaining company standards
• Perform professional cleaning services including:
• Hot Water Extraction (Carpet & Upholstery)
• Tile & Grout Cleaning
• Pressure Washing
• Oversee equipment care, maintenance schedules, and asset organization
• Ensure vans, tools, and supplies are job-ready and properly maintained
• Conduct client walkthroughs and communicate scope of work and expectations
• Assist with commercial estimates and relationship development
• Support personnel management, training, and accountability in the field
• Maintain detailed job documentation and quality control checks
• Represent Bayou City Steam Cleaning with professionalism in luxury environments

• Proven experience with hot water extraction cleaning (carpet and upholstery required)
• Experience with tile & grout cleaning and pressure washing
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a cleaning or field service role preferred
• Strong understanding of equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift equipment and perform physically demanding work
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• High level of reliability, organization, and attention to detail

• Experience working in luxury residential or commercial environments
• Experience managing job scheduling or field teams
• Sales or commercial account experience

• Work with high‑end homes, luxury properties, and premier commercial clients across Houston
