Welder

Perform welding (GTAW-Pulsed, GTAW-Hot Wire, GTAW, FCAW) on valves and piping. Overlay and manual pipe welding abilities required. Airconditioned shop with multiple shifts available. Level I Welder:
Cladding with semiautomatic machines (Arc 5 and Fronius) Hot Wire GTAW and SAW processes.

Core

Qualifications:

• High School degree required, technical courses preferred
• Certified Welder or ability to become certified within first six months of employment
• Minimum of 5 years welding, cutting, brazing experience
• Minimum of 5 years using the compact cladders (ARC 5, Fronius)

Skills & Abilities

• Must be able to read and follow weld procedures and pass a6 G GTAW/FCAW weld test
• Familiar with the safe operation of welding and cutting equipment and gas equipment
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demanding
• Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skills
• Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy
• Works well meeting multiple deadlines with the ability to deliver on time
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to read and interpret weld drawings
• May perform any other work-related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by immediate supervisor
