We’re searching for a Control Systems Tech II, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position you will perform demand and scheduled preventive maintenance, make revisions to the software and hardware operating systems, develop and run simulations of control loop performance, develop new control loops, install new controllers, develop and install new graphical interfaces of the facility equipment to primarily include Control Systems such as HVAC control systems, Building Automation Systems, Energy Management and monitoring systems, and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes.
Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environment.

Skills & Requirements- Required H.S. Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years' experience as a DDC controls systems service-related technician. And factory trained in a DDC system’s programming language. Building Automation System experience
- Preferred hospital experience
- Preferred Honeywell building automation system experience
- Preferred commercial high-rise controls systems experience
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs for control systems and associated systems and equipment to ensure a safe environment and operational reliability according to standards established by management team
- Performs inspections, maintenance and repairs to facilities to provide a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors
- Performs repairs to failed equipment according to established standards and within acceptable time frames
- Provides notification of equipment shutdowns to appropriate leadership, departmental personnel, and Service Response Center Operators
- Maintains documentation to accurately record equipment problems and failures specifically including but not limited to work order completeness
- Reports major failures and equipment malfunctions to Manager
- Assists with, oversees and/or inspects repairs or modifications performed by contractors
- Demonstrates ability to perform controls systems skill sets
- Creates a bill of materials from blueprints
- Demonstrates ability to perform Unit 200 Duties as required to successfully complete the Unit 200 Competency checklist:
- Demonstrate knowledge of fire alarm response
- Demonstrate knowledge of Incident Management Team (IMT) response
- Demonstrate knowledge of Response to Utility losses
- Demonstrate the ability to respond to an elevator emergency
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with leadership
- Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving maintenance duties for control systems and associated systems and equipment according to standards established by management team
- Demonstrate technical knowledge depth for control systems and associated systems according to standards established by management team
- Demonstrates work product meets the expected criteria
- Demonstrate accountability for customer service and professional behavior through personal work ethic and teamwork
- Demonstrate accountability for effective communication skills
- Demonstrate accountability for management skill sets
