Hilton Houston Post Oak is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join the team. Located in Uptown, near The Galleria, the hotel offers guest rooms, an outdoor pool, a 24-hour fitness center, multiple dining options, and meeting spaces. This is an opportunity to build a rewarding career in hospitality.
Classification: Full-Time
Shift: Various – must be available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Shifts may include overnight (11:00 pm – 7:00 am) and other days may be AM or PM.
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour, based on experience and location.
Responsibilities- Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-the-house areas
- Respond to guest calls and team member work orders promptly to assess and repair non-functioning machinery or equipment
- Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks (carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC, masonry)
- Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs
- Record and report completed repairs and items requiring further attention
