Position: Houston, United States Maintenance Technician Operations

Responsible for maintenance of TGT equipment’ which includes both preventive and corrective maintenance, responsible for enhancing the service quality and equipment reliability by improving workflows and optimizingmaintenance processes as per company’s processes and procedures.

  • Ensure that TGT equipment are appropriately managed and ensure that TGT equipment are maintained to international regulations & company procedures.
  • Assess the current requirements of repair and maintenance and prioritize areas where urgent repairs are needed.
  • Diagnose breakdown problems, identify root cause analysis, and develop reports, perform all kind of tool maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Perform maintenance as per PPM schedules (Planned Preventive Maintenance) schedules detailing the tasks to be performed and work orders to be executed.
  • Perform basic tools maintenance (PM1) without supervision and perform tools maintenance (PM2), calibrations and basic repair tasks under supervision.
  • Perform general shop duties safely and effectively.
  • Perform tools maintenance, basic troubleshooting, calibration, and innovative quality assurance techniques to address such areas.
  • Deep understanding of mechanical and circuit diagrams as well ability to read and use technical manuals.
  • Perform calibrations and tool maintenance tasks to diagnose equipment problems and address such problems as and when they arise.
  • Perform tools failure analysis to understand the root cause of problems arising from day-to-day activities and operations and recommend valued steps to address such problems.
  • Maintain a log of repair and maintenance tasks currently being performed and scheduled to be performed with action steps and timelines in the existing maintenance tracking system to track, monitor and develop steps to incorporate marked improvements in tools and equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other professionals on technical tasks.
  • Create and maintain records in existing maintenance tracking system.
  • Compliance with Technical and HSE Competency Framework.
  • Ensure a safe working environment exists with health, safety, environment and quality standards being adhered and company’s departmental KPI targets are achieved with ease.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • High Technical degree provided by known College/School in electronics, electromechanics, instrumentation, etc..
  • Aptitude for hands-on work coupled with strong skills and hands-on experience.
  • Ability to fulfil essential responsibilities without supervision after internal training.
  • Self-motivation in performing tasks assigned.
  • Willingness and ability to travel.
