This role is responsible for overseeing all legal, regulatory, and compliance matters while providing high-level legal guidance to executive leadership. The General Counsel will play a critical role in supporting business strategy, ensuring operational compliance, and protecting the firm’s legal and ethical interests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as chief legal advisor to executive leadership and senior management.
  • Oversee corporate governance, regulatory compliance, contracts, litigation, and risk management activities.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, policies, and legal documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Manage and coordinate external counsel, regulatory agencies, and legal vendors.
  • Advise on employment law matters, internal policies, investigations, and dispute resolution.
  • Identify legal risks and develop mitigation strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting the firm and its operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in good standing.
  • 7–10+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a general counsel or senior legal role.
  • Strong background in corporate law, compliance, contracts, and employment law.
  • Proven ability to provide practical, business-focused legal guidance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional environment.
