Litigation Associate

Our client, an AM Law 200 firm, is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Houston office and become an integral part of the firm’s highly regarded Advocacy Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated junior litigator to gain hands-on experience in a sophisticated and fast-moving federal and state court practice, working closely with experienced trial lawyers in a collaborative environment.

• Support and manage all phases of complex litigation in federal and state courts.
• Assist with and conduct depositions, discovery, and motion practice.
• Draft pleadings, briefs, and other substantive litigation documents.
• Participate in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings.
• Work directly with senior litigators and clients, gaining meaningful responsibility early on.

• 1–2 years of complex litigation experience.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Demonstrated analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Experience with depositions, discovery, motions, and trial work preferred.
• Bright, hardworking, responsive, and professional demeanor.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Texas Bar.
