Doré Rothberg Law, P.C. (DRL) is seeking a detail-oriented attorney interested in matters regarding Creditor-Side Litigation and Collection. This role will primarily advise Oil & Gas service companies regarding: creditors rights, litigation, collections, and mineral lien disputes. Additionally, the right candidate for this role will proactively take on a variety of litigation and dispute resolution projects beyond oil and gas service companies, including business disputes, contested probate or fiduciary matters, and many other 'fun' situations that our clients face.
DRL places high regard on teamwork and flexibility, and the ideal candidate will be one who is willing to jump in and help wherever they may be needed.
The culture of our Firm revolves around six core values that define expectations of both our clients and each other. They are:
Problem Solving, Innovation, Trust, Diversity, Responsiveness, and Community.
- An organized, proactive, hardworking team player
- Does not get angry frequently, talk down to staff, throw staplers, or assume inherent superiority over other employees simply because they are "an attorney"
- Effectively presents information and responds to questions from other attorneys, paralegals, staff, and clients
- Exceptionally effective negotiator of pre-suit files and claims without being an aggressive jerk
- Possesses good judgment in decision-making to meet deadlines adequately and efficiently
- Ability to prioritize workload in an organized manner
- Delights in a structured office environment with carefully thought-out policies and systems to follow
- Takes initiative in handling projects and anticipates next steps
- Multitasking skills that do not compromise impeccable attention to detail
- Organized to a fault, a "Type-A" personality who shudders at the idea of a disorganized to-do list
- Possesses a strong work ethic and drive to reach goals set by themselves or the firm
- Ability to adapt to ever-changing priorities
- Evaluates problems and recommends solutions to clients and team members
- Excellent people skills for interactions with team members and clients, as well as opposing counsel, experts, court personnel, witnesses, and vendors
- Seeks employment with a law firm with an excellent staff of people who actually enjoy coming to work and enjoy each other's company
