Lawyers On Demand is currently seeking skilled applicants on behalf of a highly regarded corporate client in Houston, TX, for their opening as a Corporate Paralegal. This is a long-term, open-ended contract position with the potential to go Temp-to-Hire. This position features a hybrid schedule in the client's Houston office.

Corporate Paralegal - Houston, TX

• Immediate Hiring Need - Open Ended Contract

• Contract Pay Starting at $37/hour
• Hybrid Schedule in Houston, TX

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Performs administrative tasks such as redlining, filing, uploading, and managing legal documents and correspondence.
• Assists the legal team in preparing and facilitating legal documents for execution, including form agreements, cover letters, and other documents.
• Assists in reporting obligations of all subsidiaries, and prepares related form documents such as resolutions, powers of attorney, certificates of secretary, certificates of incumbency, and more.
• Assists with recording and tracking SOPs, legal holds, and updating the litigation table.
• Leverages advanced technology to find ways to streamline, automate, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Provides specified project support including due diligence, KYC requests, and drafting ancillary corporate documents for review by counsel.

Qualifications:

• Individuals with a paralegal certification are encouraged to apply -- bachelor s degree required.
• Preferred candidates will have experience in entity management, legal operations or process improvement initiatives, department vendor management, litigation support, and legal research.
• Must be able to work a hybrid schedule in Houston, TX
