Paralegal

Job Description

Schouest, Bamdas, Soshea, Ben Maier and Eastham is seeking a professional, organized, reliable paralegal to support our litigation team. The ideal candidate must have excellent research and writing skills, as well as the ability to exercise sound judgment, think creatively and work independently.

Responsibilities include-but are not limited to:

• Obtain, review and analyze documents or any other relevant information
• Review and summarize medical records
• Prepare for trial by preparing trial notebooks, exhibits and witness files
• Compile evidence and supporting information by searching records, discovery documents, transcripts, libraries and databases
• Generate status reports, logs and indexes
• Maintain acceptable minimum monthly billable hours

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in litigation
• Degree from an accredited university and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program
• Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical skills
• Time management skills, ability to multi-task and the ability to work with all levels of employees.
