Our prestigious law firm is seeking a seasoned Litigation Paralegal with specialization in personal injury to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position, offering an opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys and clients. The role requires the ability to manage high-stress situations, handle a heavy caseload, and maintain a high level of professionalism.
Responsibilities- Drafting, preparing, and reviewing legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assisting in the preparation of trial by organizing evidence, preparing exhibits, scheduling witnesses, and ensuring all necessary materials are ready.
- Managing document review and discovery processes efficiently and effectively.
- Using legal case management software to track and manage cases, ensuring information is up-to-date and accessible.
- Conducting legal research and writing to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Liaising with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and internal team members to facilitate case progression.
- Adhering to all legal compliance requirements and staying updated on changes in laws affecting personal injury litigation.
- Providing bilingual Spanish support to clients, ensuring clear and accurate communication.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a plaintiff PI litigation paralegal.
- Proficiency in legal document preparation, trial preparation, document review, and the discovery process.
- Solid experience with legal case management software, ideally iManage.
- Excellent knowledge of legal compliance and legal writing.
- Strong understanding of personal injury law.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive problem-solving and the ability to think strategically.
