Overview
FAMILY LAW PARALEGAL
The Company:
Our client is a respected Pearland-based LAW FIRM that is seeking to hire a FAMILY LAW PARALEGAL to join their growing team!
This role is TEMP-to-POTENTIAL-PERM-HIRE with a work schedule of MONDAY-FRIDAY, 8AM-5PM
. Hourly compensation available at $25-$27/hr
, with some opportunity for OVERTIME HOURS
.
The Family Law Paralegal will be responsible for:
- Supporting attorneys in family law cases including divorce, child custody, child/spousal support, and restraining orders
- Drafting legal documents such as petitions, declarations, financial disclosures, and discovery requests
- Conducting client intake and assisting with the preparation of case files
- Managing court filings and calendaring deadlines
- Maintaining accurate and organized case files, databases, and client communications
Requirements:
- 5+ years of proven experience in FAMILY LAW, REQUIRED
- Paralegal Certificate, REQUIRED
