Ever Bright, a subsidiary of Next Era Energy Resources, is seeking an experienced transactional attorney, resident in its Houston office, for its residential solar business. The role involves drafting and negotiating agreements and advising the company on residential solar business issues. The attorney will oversee transactions ensuring compliance with legal requirements, handle multiple transactions concurrently, draft contract amendments, review disputes, and manage vendor and other agreements.

Extensive experience from start to finish is required; experience with residential solar is preferred. This attorney will participate in complex legal matters and projects and deliver timely and quality legal services to clients with minimal supervision.

• Provides written and oral legal advice to clients
• Anticipates and guards against legal risks involving the organization
• Works to ensure budget compliance and avoids the need for outside counsel
• Ensures disclosure of potentially material legal issues to senior leadership
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

• Member in Good Standing of State Bar
• High School Grad / GED
• Juris Doctorate
• Bachelor's Degree
