Legal Secretary - Floater

Position: Legal Secretary - Floater - 66922
Our client, a Houston area law firm, has a new opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary/Legal Administrative Assistant to support their Public Finance team. While working both independently and collaboratively to accomplish a dynamic set of tasks as may be assigned, day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Review and finalize correspondence, including proofreading, editing and redlining.
• Record all client billable hours on the firm's tracking system timely.

Requirements:

• 5 or more years of experience supporting multiple litigation attorneys in a law firm setting.
• Experience supporting litigation and corporate attorneys is required.
• Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office suite of programs (especially Word, Outlook, Excel), Workshare Compare, and Net Docs (or other document management systems) required.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
• Knowledge of Texas real property online recordings (CSC - ePrepare), Texas Secretary of State recordings/searches (SOS Direct), and Texas Comptroller (eSystems) helpful.

Compensation is salary with overtime pay and is competitive based on experience or skill level; yearly, discretionary bonus possible.
