Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation

Overview

Our premier law firm in Houston is seeking an associate attorney to join our litigation team. We have been providing exceptional legal representation for over 75 years and are seeking a candidate with a solid understanding of the litigation process and a desire to advance their career. This position requires at least three years of litigation experience and strong communication skills with a client-focused approach.

• Engage in motion practice and be skilled in arguing motions
• Participate in depositions and attend court hearings
• Actively participate in negotiation and settlement discussions
• Draft and articulate compelling written and oral arguments
• Collaborate with the firm’s Litigation Group and contribute to case strategy and execution

• 3+ years of litigation experience
• Skilled in arguing motions

• Exceptional skills with written and oral arguments
• Active membership with the TX State Bar
