Senior Legal Counsel​/Attorney - Transactional

Growing Galleria-Area business law firm is seeking a Texas attorney with 12+ years of experience in general business transactional law.

The position would include work in M&A transactions (including drafting and negotiating asset, stock, merger, employment, operating and other agreements typical to these transactions), entity formations and structuring, and commercial contract review and drafting.

Candidates must be self-starters and be able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, as well as able to serve as a lead on projects, while involving and supervising younger attorneys. A focused attention to detail and a commitment to providing quality services is essential.

Candidates should have portable existing client relationships and the ability to generate additional client relationships with the full support of the Firm, its dedicated Business Development Manager, and its unique business development process and system. Compensation systems reward candidates' ability to generate. Previously successful candidates have included larger law firm attorneys looking for an opportunity to be an entrepreneur but work in an environment where their business development is supported by the firm, as well as attorneys in solo or small firms who are looking for a more sophisticated platform and existing attorneys who can support generated work.
