Position Overview

This role is ideal for an experienced litigator who can take ownership of cases and serve as a trusted advisor to clients. The Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney will manage matters from inception through resolution and play a meaningful role in litigation strategy, mentoring, and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of commercial and complex civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation
• Appear in state and federal courts and manage matters independently with minimal oversight
• Develop and execute litigation strategy aligned with client goals and case realities
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing clear, practical guidance
• Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate closely with firm leadership and staff
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, preparation, and client service

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active Texas Bar admission
• Significant experience in commercial litigation or complex civil litigation
• Strong courtroom presence and command of litigation strategy
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage a demanding caseload while maintaining attention to detail
• Business-minded approach to litigation and client relationships
