Overview

Join our personal injury law firm as a Senior Associate Attorney and become an integral part of a dedicated team committed to advocating for the rights of individuals who have suffered injuries. With over a decade of experience in personal injury law, you will independently handle cases with minimal assistance, ensuring justice and fair compensation for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Oversee and manage a team of attorneys and case managers. Responsible for hiring, training, and, if necessary, terminating team members to ensure top performance and alignment with the firm’s goals.
  • Performance Evaluation: Regularly review and assess the performance of attorneys and case managers. Ensure they meet case management expectations and adhere to deadlines.
  • Independent Caseload Management: Handle a personal caseload of personal injury cases from inception through resolution.
  • Deadline Compliance: Meet with attorneys and case managers to ensure all cases are managed effectively and deadlines are consistently met.
  • Client Representation: Provide compassionate and effective representation to clients. Prioritize their needs and interests throughout the legal process to ensure a favorable outcome.
  • Regular Client Updates: Maintain open communication with clients to keep them informed about case progress and their legal options.
  • Settlement Negotiations: Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel and insurance companies to secure favorable settlements for clients.
  • Court Appearances: Represent clients in various court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and mediations, etc.
  • Legal Team

    Collaboration:

    Work collaboratively with the legal team to share insights and develop strategies for case management and advocacy. Foster an environment of mutual support and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school, with admission to the Texas State Bar in good standing.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a personal injury law firm is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Leadership and Management:
    Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Interpersonal and Communication: Strong skills in interpersonal communication, both written and verbal.
  • Organization and Time Management: Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple cases and priorities efficiently.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in office software and database systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Aptitude for identifying issues and developing effective solutions to keep cases on track.
  • Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Stress Management: Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
