Labor And Employment Attorney

A nationally recognized AmLaw 100 law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate with approximately 2 years of litigation experience to join its Houston office. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly regarded Labor & Employment Practice Group that handles sophisticated, high‑stakes matters for a diverse client base.

• Represent employers in a broad range of labor and employment litigation matters.
• Handle expedited proceedings, including temporary restraining orders and temporary injunctions.
• Litigate trade secret misappropriation and non‑compete disputes.
• Work on wage and hour class and collective actions, as well as single‑plaintiff employment litigation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings; conduct legal research; and manage discovery.
• Assist with trial preparation in both state and federal courts.
• Participate in settlement conferences and negotiations.

• JD from an ABA‑accredited law school.
• Active and good‑standing membership in the Texas Bar.
• Approximately 2 years of labor & employment litigation experience.
• Experience with motion practice and discovery required.
• Trial preparation experience and exposure to settlement negotiations preferred.
• Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required.
