About: I am seeking a sharp and driven Commercial Litigation Attorney to join one of the Top Tier Law Firms in the Houston Area. This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives on complex disputes, strategic thinking, and high-stakes advocacy for business clients.
What You’ll Do:
- Handle a broad range of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and shareholder conflicts
- Manage cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practice
- Appear in court for hearings, conferences, mediations, and trials
- Develop litigation strategy in collaboration with clients and colleagues
- Draft persuasive briefs and legal memoranda
- Communicate effectively with sophisticated business clients and opposing counsel
What We’re Looking For:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active member in good standing of the West Virginia Bar
- 3+ years of commercial or complex civil litigation experience
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines
- Professionalism, judgment, and attention to detail
