Experienced Paralegal - Plaintiff's Trial Law Firm About The Firm

We are a fast-growing plaintiff's trial law firm based in Houston, Texas, with a focus on catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases. Our passionate and experienced team is dedicated to achieving justice for our clients and has recovered millions of dollars on their behalf. We handle a wide range of cases, including car accidents, truck wrecks, work injuries, product liability, and insurance disputes.

Who

We're Looking For

We are seeking a mid-senior level paralegal with a minimum of 5 years plus of experience in plaintiff's personal injury litigation to join our dynamic team. You are a highly motivated and reliable team player with a strong work ethic and a passion for helping others. You have extensive trial experience and a thorough understanding of relevant legal procedures. Bilingualism is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Draft discovery documents and legal correspondence
  • Manage case files from intake to resolution
  • Prepare for trial, including compiling trial notebooks and ordering medical records
  • Assist attorneys with hearings and trials
  • Conduct legal research and fact-finding
  • Manage client communication and inquiries
  • Schedule depositions and coordinate with vendors
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal databases
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
Education
  • Associate's degree in paralegal studies or equivalent experience preferred
  • NALA or AACP certification preferred

Schedule
