, a Leavitt Group affiliate, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team in Houston, TX.

As a Account Manager
, you’ll manage the daily servicing and retention of accounts, provide expert coverage guidance, and collaborate with producers and account executives to ensure exceptional client experience.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage and retain an assigned book of business, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional service.
  • Place new and renewal business by collaborating with producers and following established workflows.
  • Answer coverage questions, recommend solutions, and process policy changes, endorsements, audits, and certificates.
  • Issue insurance documents, reconcile accounts, collect premiums, and assist clients with service needs and escalations.
  • Identify account rounding and cross‑selling opportunities to enhance client protection.
  • Maintain accurate client information in AMS
    360 and follow commercial lines procedures using available reference tools.
  • Stay current on market trends, products, pricing, and underwriting criteria.
  • Analyze renewal premiums, identify variances, and propose competitive alternatives.
  • Participate in renewal strategy discussions and collaborate with Marketing and carriers.
  • Mentor and support new team members as needed and contribute to a positive team culture.
What You Bring
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Commercial Account Manager or Producer.
  • Active Property & Casualty license.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in interpreting insurance documents.
  • Proficiency with basic office software and comfort learning agency systems.
  • Industry designations (CIC, CRM, CPCU, etc.) preferred—or willingness to pursue one within 5 years.
