Description
The Support Technician provides first and second level technical support to end users, ensuring reliable operation of devices, applications, and core IT services. This role serves as a primary point of contact for IT incidents and service requests, delivering responsive, high-quality support while maintaining security, compliance, and service level standards.
End-User Support - Incident & Request Management
Serve as a primary point of contact for IT incidents and service requests
Log, prioritize, and resolve tickets within defined SLA targets
Provide desk-side and remote support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
Troubleshoot Windows and macOS devices, mobile devices, and peripherals
Support VPN, Wi-Fi, printers, and remote access issues
Escalate complex incidents to infrastructure or engineering teams as appropriate
Communicate clearly and professionally with users and stakeholders
Identity & Access Management
Provision and deprovision user accounts across business systems
Manage passwords, MFA enrollment, group memberships, and license assignments
Support onboarding and offboarding processes in alignment with security policies
Ensure adherence to SOX and internal control procedures
Device Deployment & Endpoint Management
Deploy, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
Install software, perform patching, and manage updates
Support endpoint management platforms (e.g., Intune, SCCM, or similar)
Maintain accurate asset inventory and lifecycle tracking
Documentation, Process & Continuous Improvement
Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions in the knowledge base
Contribute to process documentation and standardization efforts
Identify recurring issues and recommend service improvements
Assist with automation initiatives and self-service enhancements
Participate in IT change rollouts and project support activities

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM)

Ability to generate or modify Service Now or BI reports to support operational visibility and performance tracking
IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Fundamentals

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
