Senior Business Analyst (People Soft FSCM SME)
Looking to leverage your People Soft FSCM expertise in a high-impact ERP initiative? We’re seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager to serve as a functional lead supporting a major People Soft-focused project for a large public-sector organization in Houston.
This is a hybrid opportunity offering competitive pay, stability, and the chance to play a key role in enterprise-level system improvements.
🔎 What You’ll Do- Serve as the Functional SME for People Soft FSCM (GL, Commitment Control, AP)
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
- Translate business needs into functional specs and system design documentation
- Develop process flows and workflow diagrams
- Support system configuration and enhancements
- Create and execute test plans; lead and coordinate UAT
- Ensure system functionality aligns with documented requirements
- Partner with stakeholders and technical teams as a strategic liaison
- Support structured project execution and change management efforts
- Strong functional expertise in People Soft FSCM (GL, KK, AP)
- Experience with functional configuration and module support
- Proven ability to document detailed business and system requirements
- Hands‑on testing and UAT coordination experience
- Strong understanding of financial system processes end‑to‑end
- Experience working within structured project methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on milestones
- CJIS eligibility/clearance required
- Preferred:
Integration Broker, Workflow, SQL experience
- $43/hr
- Weekly pay (direct deposit or pay card)
- 401(k) eligibility
