Description:

Seeking a highly experienced Dell Boomi Integration Architect to lead a comprehensive evaluation and modernization initiative across its enterprise integration landscape. This role will assess current middleware platforms including Oracle SOA Suite and Microsoft Biz Talk, evaluate licensing utilization and cost structures, and design a strategic roadmap toward an optimized integration architecture leveraging Dell Boomi.

The Architect will be responsible for understanding the complexity of client’s LNG commercial operations, pipeline systems, ERP platforms, data exchanges, and third-party integrations, and delivering actionable recommendations for scalability, modernization, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.

• Conduct a detailed assessment of the existing Oracle SOA Suite and Microsoft Biz Talk environments
• Evaluate integration patterns, message volumes, workflows, EDI transactions, APIs, and batch processes
• Analyze licensing models, usage counts, capacity utilization, and total cost of ownership (TCO)
• Identify technical debt, redundancy, and operational risk

• Perform license count validation and usage analysis across middleware platforms
• Recommend right-sizing strategies and cost optimization opportunities
• Provide comparative analysis between current-state licensing and Dell Boomi subscription models
• Design a scalable, cloud-first integration architecture leveraging Dell Boomi
• Define migration strategy from Oracle SOA and Biz Talk to Boomi (phased, hybrid, or full transition)
• Establish API-led connectivity framework and event-driven integration patterns
• Recommend governance, monitoring, and security best practices aligned to Energy sector compliance requirements

• Assess integration complexity across ERP (SAP/Oracle), LNG transaction management, pipeline systems, EDI partners, and cloud platforms
• Develop a detailed migration roadmap including sequencing, risk mitigation, rollback strategy, and change management
• Identify resource requirements, skill gaps, and timeline estimates

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams
• Present executive-level findings, business case justification, and ROI analysis
• Facilitate architecture workshops and technical deep dives

• 10+ years of enterprise integration architecture experience
• 5+ years hands‑on experience with Dell Boomi Atom Sphere

• Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, OSB, Mediator)
• Microsoft Biz Talk (EDI, orchestrations, pipelines)
• API management and microservices architecture
• Proven experience performing middleware license assessments and cost optimization reviews
• Experience leading large‑scale integration modernization programs

• Cloud integration (AWS/Azure preferred)
• Hybrid integration architectures
• EDI/X12 transactions (energy sector preferred)
• Experience with in Energy, LNG, Utilities, or Oil & Gas environments strongly preferred
