Business Analyst

JOB SUMMARY

As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in understanding business processes, eliciting and documenting requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into IT solutions. This position requires a strong blend of business acumen and technical expertise.


JOB DESCRIPTION

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and document detailed business requirements for IT projects and initiatives
• Analyze and map current business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and automation
• Work with technical teams to design and propose IT solutions that align with business goals and requirements
• Create clear and comprehensive functional specifications, user stories, and use cases that guide the development of IT solutions
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct UAT activities, ensuring that IT solutions meet business needs and are free of defects
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions and support data-driven strategies
• Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring mutual understanding and alignment on project objectives
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of business requirements, process diagrams, and project artifacts
• Support change management efforts by assisting in the development of training materials and providing user support during technology adoption
• Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery, including scope, timeline, and budget

Required education and experience

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst
