Data Governance Analyst

Insight Global is looking for a Data Governance Analyst to sit in either Houston or New York City for one of our largest financial services clients in Houston, TX. This person will be responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, and monitoring of governance processes that ensure trusted, high-quality data across the enterprise. This person will work closely with business and technology teams, helping to document standards, track governance activities, and monitor adherence to policies and controls.

This position is hybrid, requiring at least 2 days onsite, in either Houston, TX or New York City, NY. The pay rate for this position will be between $50-60/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

* 5-10 years of experience in Data Governance

* Background in insurance industry

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field.

* Strong organizational, documentation, and reporting skills.

* Analytical mindset with ability to support problem-solving and process improvements.

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working across business and technology.

* Experience working with Cloud Data technologies such as Infomatica, Snowflake, Reltio, etc.

* Familiarity with data catalog, metadata, or data quality tools
