Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated Help Desk Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees and customers. The Help Desk Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our IT systems and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to incoming calls, emails, and tickets from employees and customers regarding technical issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other technology equipment
- Set up new user accounts and manage access permissions
- Provide training and support to employees on company software and systems
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues
- Document all support activities and maintain accurate records
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and provide recommendations for improvement
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of company data and systems
- Act as a liaison between the company and external IT service providers
- High school diploma or equivalent;
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred - Proven work experience as a Help Desk Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Familiarity with network infrastructure and troubleshooting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) is a plus
