IT desk support tech

Overview

Alltex Staffing & Personnel is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Desk Support Technician to join our team. As a full-time employee, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients, ensuring their IT systems and equipment are functioning efficiently and effectively.

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for clients
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment
• Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions
• Monitor and maintain network security, including antivirus and firewalls
• Provide training and support to clients on various software applications
• Document and track all support requests and resolutions in a timely manner
• Collaborate with other team members to implement new technology and upgrades
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in IT support and services

• High school diploma or equivalent;
  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in IT support or related role
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
• Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Office, and remote desktop support
• Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Certifications such as A+ or Network+ are a plus
