About the RoleWhitestone is seeking a hands-on IT Support & Hardware Specialist to maintain and support the organization’s technology systems. This role includes tracking, setting up, and maintaining all devices, troubleshooting hardware and software, supporting end users across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and office technology tools, and documenting IT processes, procedures, and policies to ensure consistency and efficiency across the organization.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and has hands-on IT experience. This role works closely with external IT partners, internal teams, and vendors, providing an excellent opportunity for growth in a fast-paced, productivity-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Track, set up, configure, and maintain all desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other IT equipment across the organization.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for local and remote users.
- Support email accounts, software access, and company systems.
- Assist with monitoring backups, network connectivity, and system security.
- Collaborate well with external IT partners and vendors on technical issues or device repairs.
- Support phone systems, mobile accounts, and other office technology tools.
- Test and evaluate new technologies for potential office implementation.
- Help train end users on different software programs to help drive organizational effectiveness.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on IT support or help desk experience is required.
- Strong attention to detail and discipline for documenting processes and maintaining IT company standards.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to assist end users effectively. - Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to learn.
