Senior Python Developer

Location: Houston

Duration: 12 months + extension

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer with deep trading domain expertise to join a high-performing technology team supporting large-scale futures trading systems. This role requires strong hands‑on engineering capabilities combined with strong knowledge of trading workflows, risk systems, and quantitative infrastructure.

You will play a critical role in designing and building scalable risk, position management, and back‑testing services that support enterprise‑grade trading operations.

• Design, build, and enhance high-performance Python‑based trading services
• Implement scalable risk management, position management, and back‑testing systems for large futures trading environments
• Develop distributed systems deployed in cloud‑native environments
• Optimize services for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Manage and orchestrate containerized workloads using Kubernetes
• Partner closely with traders, quants, and stakeholders to translate trading requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Ensure robust testing, monitoring, and production stability

• Strong Python development experience in production trading environments
• Deep domain knowledge of trading systems

• Strong experience with AWS (cloud architecture, deployment, scaling, infrastructure management)
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes

• Experience working within large futures or commodities trading platforms
• Familiarity with event‑driven architecture and real‑time market data systems
