Hi ProfessionalsWe are looking for Senior Solution Architect Energy Trading & ETRM (Azure Cloud) for one of my client at Houston, TX.
We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect Energy Trading & ETRM with deep experience in commodities trading systems and modern cloud architecture. This role will lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise trading platforms supporting front, mid, and back-office functions across physical and financial commodities.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in ETRM platforms (Endur/Allegro/TriplePoint), trading lifecycle processes, and cloud-native architecture (Azure preferred).
Key Responsibilities- Lead architecture and design for enterprise Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) platforms.
- Drive end-to-end solution design across trade capture, risk, valuation (MTM), PnL, credit exposure, settlements, and reporting.
- Architect and modernize trading platforms using Azure cloud-native services.
- Provide technical leadership for ETRM implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
- Design scalable, event‑driven, API‑based architectures supporting real‑time and batch processing.
- Collaborate with traders, risk managers, operations, finance, and IT stakeholders.
- Lead integration with market data providers (ICE, NYMEX, Platts, Bloomberg, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements (FERC, CFTC, SOX).
- Participate in architecture governance and portfolio‑level technology decision making.
- Provide mentorship to development and product teams.
- 12+ years of experience in Commodities Trading systems.
- Strong hands‑on experience with ETRM platforms such as Endur, Allegro, or TriplePoint.
- Deep understanding of front‑to‑back trade lifecycle:
- Trade capture
- Mark‑to‑Market (MTM)
- PnL attribution
- Credit & Risk management
- Settlements & accounting
- Experience supporting Gas, Power, Crude, LNG, or Refined Products.
- Strong data architecture experience (SQL, data modeling, reporting).
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
