Junior Research Analyst

Our client is a leader in energy news and research, offering reports, alerts, and analytics to meet client needs. They are looking for a Junior Research Analyst to research, interpret trends, data and models for their product. GIS skills are important for company growing map and pipeline offerings.

Responsibilities

• Identify and understand daily market developments through news tracking.

• Market research to support business and client's needs.

• Data set and model creation.

• Tackle client requests

• Ensure market data through audits, updates, and quality control.

• Improve data pipelines.

• Make smart adds to company database.

• Use ArcGIS for map creation.

Required

• Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Geography, Energy)

• Relational database skills (SQL, Postgre

SQL), programming languages (SQL, Python)

• ArcGIS Pro or Arc Map

• Geodatabases, GIS workflows.

• Attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication skills.

Role is in office daily, centrally in Houston.
