SummaryThis position plays a leading role in web experience usability processes and practices on multiple projects including, but not limited to, websites, software user interface (UI) and mobile experiences. Works with internal and external resources to identify, gather and integrate research topics with Insperity’s technology while balancing company goals and objectives with product usability.
Responsibilities- Conduct user research and analysis, develop actionable recommendations, and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct market and user research to identify industry and emerging trends and make recommendations on forward‑looking new products and features.
- Work closely with user experience (UX) design, product management, voice of the customer, operations teams and marketing to identify research topics, conduct user research, and recommend priorities based on research findings.
- Design testing scenarios and user studies according to research objectives.
- Conduct and report on various types of research, including qualitative and quantitative methods for both generative and evaluative purposes.
- Identify, analyze, and advocate for user personas’ needs, goals, tasks, and workflows.
- Conduct usability testing both remotely and in‑person.
- Drive the overall user research strategy and methods across all product lines.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Interaction Design, Computer Human Interaction or a related field is required.
- Four to six years of experience in UX research, UX design, voice of the customer, or market research is required.
- Strong technical mastery of Figma + Adobe.
- Demonstrated experience with UX research tools (Crazy Egg, User Testing, Heatmaps).
- Experience with work management platforms like
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing and productive user feedback sessions.
- Working knowledge of quantitative evaluation methods, behavioral analysis and statistics.
- Ability to analyze and organize user testing data.
- Experience creating annotated mockups.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to express complex research in business terms and maintain positive and effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.
- Portfolio required — must include visual and UX process examples.
$64,800 - $73,725
Insperity provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
