The IT Manager of Enterprise Applications leads our enterprise systems function, managing both the applications team and the systems that power our business operations. This role is accountable for ensuring system reliability, driving continuous improvement, and delivering responsive support to end users across the organization. As a working manager, you’ll split your time between leading your team and hands‑on technical work—developing BPMs and BAQs, creating custom dashboards, implementing system enhancements, and resolving complex system issues.

This role will plan and manage application upgrades, establish best practices, and partner closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of application support specialists and developers
• Establish team goals, performance metrics, and professional development plans
• Manage workload distribution and prioritize team activities to align with business objectives
• Foster a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of Epicor Kinetic ERP systems and enterprise applications, ensuring optimal performance and availability
• Plan and prepare for application upgrades, patches, and develop system enhancements while minimizing business disruption
• Develop and maintain application roadmaps aligned with organizational strategy
• Establish and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) for application support

• Design and develop Business Process Methods (BPMs) to automate and streamline business workflows
• Create and optimize Business Activity Queries (BAQs) for reporting and data analysis
• Implement screen modifications, forms, and customizations to enhance user experience and productivity
• Build and maintain executive and operational dashboards for data‑driven decision making
• Troubleshoot day‑to‑day and complex technical application issues as well as provide escalation support for critical incidents
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions to improve system capabilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Provide end‑user support and training on enterprise applications
• Lead system integration projects and coordinate with cross‑functional teams
• Document processes, procedures, and system configurations

• Establish and maintain best practices for application development, testing, and deployment
• Implement change management processes to ensure controlled system modifications
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and regulatory requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of experience with ERP systems and enterprise application support
• 5+ years of people management experience leading technical teams
• 5+ years of experience in the Manufacturing Industry
• Advanced knowledge of Epicor Kinetic ERP system
• Strong technical proficiency in Epicor Kinetic framework including developing BPMs, BAQs, Epicor Functions, Application Studio, Data Management Tools
• Experience with dashboard creation and business intelligence tools
• Knowledge of SQL, database management, and data integration
• Experience using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Proven track record managing application upgrades and system implementations
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences
• Project management experience with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Familiarity with cloud‑based enterprise applications
• Must have Manufacturing Industry Experience

• Experience with Aptean Intuitive ERP
• Knowledge and ability to support Salesforce CRM
• Knowledge and ability to support and develop automation in Mule Soft middleware
