Job Title:
Senior Manager Advanced Analytics
The Senior Manager Advanced Analytics leads the development and execution of advanced analytics, data science, and AI-driven initiatives to drive strategic decision-making and business performance. This role is responsible for building and managing high-performing analytics teams, translating complex data into actionable insights, and partnering with senior stakeholders to embed data-driven practices across the organization.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership capability to deliver measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities- Define and execute the advanced analytics roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead, mentor, and scale a team of data scientists, analysts, and analytics engineers.
- Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making.
- Partner with executive leadership to identify high-impact analytics opportunities.
- Translate business strategies into analytics use cases and actionable solutions.
- Oversee the development and deployment of predictive models, machine learning solutions, and optimization frameworks.
- Ensure robust model validation, governance, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Guide the use of statistical modeling, AI/ML, forecasting, and simulation techniques.
- Ensure scalable, production-ready analytics solutions in collaboration with data engineering teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders across functions (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Operations, Product).
- Communicate complex analytical insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Influence decision-making through compelling storytelling with data.
- Align analytics initiatives with measurable KPIs and ROI.
- Establish best practices in analytics methodologies, tools, and documentation.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, compliance, and governance standards.
- Manage project prioritization, resource allocation, and delivery timelines.
- Evaluate and implement new tools, platforms, and technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Master’s or PhD preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or related quantitative roles.
- 3+ years of experience leading analytics or data science teams.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable business impact through advanced analytics.
- Experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of big data technologies and modern data architectures.
- Familiarity with MLOps and model deployment frameworks.
