• Ability to work a hybrid schedule 2-3 days onsite in Houston, TX.
• 7+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Data Engineering roles, with primary focus on Google Cloud Platform
• Strong knowledge of data modeling (logical, physical, dimensional, semantic) and Medallion architecture

• Own the end-to-end data platform architecture on GCP, including ingestion, storage, transformation, governance, and consumption layers.
• Define and enforce data engineering best practices, including medallion architecture, semantic layer design, and scalable data modeling standards.
• Lead architecture decisions across core GCP data services such as Big Query, Alloy
  
  DB, Spanner, Bigtable, Dataflow, Data stream, and Dataplex.
• Identify, document, and drive remediation of technical debt while aligning current-state solutions to future-state architecture.
• Oversee data ingestion and integration patterns supporting batch, streaming, and near-real-time use cases.
• Guide teams on data quality, reliability, performance optimization, and cost-aware design.
• Ensure data platforms are built for scale, resilience, and long-term maintainability.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and technical authority in cross-functional decision-making forums.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for business and executive stakeholders.
• Influence architecture and platform adoption through collaboration and credibility rather than mandate.

• 7+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Data Engineering roles, with primary focus on Google Cloud Platform
• Deep expertise in GCP Data Platform, especially:
  Big Query, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Kafka, Dataflow / Beam, Cloud Composer, Dataproc, Looker / LookML
• Deep understanding of data acquisition patterns like CDC, Realtime, Batch, Federated sharing and tools (GCP, Non-GCP) like Data Stream, Pub/Sub, Kafka, Dataflow / Beam, Cloud Composer, Dataproc, Five Tran, Precisely, Qlik etc.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling (logical, physical, dimensional, semantic).
• Experience or knowledge of MLOps, model lifecycle management, model registry and governance, integration points with Data and Agentic AI.
• Experience with streaming architecture, real-time analytics, and event-driven designs.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and designing scalable ELT workflows.
• Experience with API-based integrations, microservices patterns, and REST/gRPC.
• Strong communication skills with ability to influence at multiple organizational levels.
