Position Title: Medical Business Systems Analyst

Clearance Level: Top Secret / SCI

Location(s): Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), Fort Sam Houston, TX

The Medical Business Systems Analyst shall provide expert-level business systems analysis support within the Medical and Materiel communities of interest. This position is responsible for analyzing user needs, defining system scope and objectives, and ensuring alignment of system requirements with operational and industry standards. The analyst will serve as a top-level contributor, providing technical consultation on complex projects, and assessing the business implications of applying new or existing technology to current and future mission environments.

• Systems Analysis & Requirements Development
• Formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on user needs and DoD requirements.
• Translate business and user needs into detailed system requirements specifications.
• Devise or modify business processes and procedures to solve complex problems while considering equipment capacity, operational timelines, and desired results.
• Consultation & Advisory Support
• Provide consultation and subject matter expertise on complex medical business system projects.
• Advise stakeholders on the implications of technology solutions for both current and future business operations.
• Support enterprise decision-making through requirements analysis, documentation, and solution recommendations.
• Documentation & Compliance
• Develop and maintain requirements documentation in accordance with DoD standards and industry best practices.
• Ensure all systems analysis and business process modifications are documented and auditable.
• Contribute to compliance with medical data standards, reporting requirements, and applicable federal regulations.
• Collaboration & Integration
• Coordinate with stakeholders, system developers, and functional communities to ensure requirements are accurately captured and implemented.
• Serve as liaison between medical subject matter experts, IT personnel, and leadership in defining mission needs.
• Facilitate integration of business systems into broader medical and materiel enterprise environments.

• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or a related field, with emphasis in medical or healthcare systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in formulating system requirements, analyzing business/user needs, and translating into system specifications.
• Proven ability to advise on complex systems projects and support enterprise-wide business process improvements.
• Experience working within DoD medical or materiel systems is highly desired.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) with ability to interface across multiple stakeholder groups.

• Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) Coder certification, or equivalent recognized medical coding certification.

Full-Time, On-Site at JBSA, Fort Sam Houston, TX.
