The Functional Solutions Architect Lead is an on-site, cross-functional SAP leader responsible for leading Services delivery that includes designing, governing, and delivering end-to-end SAP solution extensions with a primary focus on Sales and Supply Chain domains. This role blends deep functional and technical expertise across SAP modules with hands‑on delivery leadership, client engagement, and part‑time project management responsibilities. The Architect serves as the primary interface between U.S. business stakeholders and global delivery teams, ensuring scalable, secure, and high‑quality SAP solutions across the team, small enhancements, and project initiatives.

• Lead end-to-end SAP solution architecture and design across a minimum of two SAP modules (SD/MM), ensuring alignment with business requirements, SAP best practices, and enterprise standards
• Oversee SAP delivery execution across projects, enhancements, releases, and production support, including governance, planning, resourcing, quality, and risk management
• Serve as the single point of contact for U.S. customer IT and business leadership, managing engagement, communication, expectations, and change management
• Drive functional and technical design reviews, validating solution blueprints, functional specifications, and technical builds for scalability, performance, and compliance
• Manage escalations and critical incidents by leading triage, root‑cause analysis, corrective action planning, and stakeholder communications
• Provide leadership across onsite‑offshore delivery teams, mentoring consultants and ensuring adherence to customer ITSM, compliance, and audit processes
• Guide SAP BASIS activities including system administration, transports, performance tuning, monitoring, upgrades, and landscape stability
• Review SAP ABAP developments and WRICEF objects, ensuring clean‑core principles, code quality, performance optimization, and S/4
  
  HANA extensibility standards
• Validate SAP functional configurations, cross‑module integrations, test scenarios, and end‑to‑end business process coverage across Sales and Supply Chain
• Lead cutover planning, go‑live readiness, hyper‑care support, and continuous improvement initiatives across AMS and enhancement delivery
• Other duties as assigned

• 12+ years of progressive SAP experience spanning functional, technical, and architectural roles
• Hands‑on delivery experience in at least two SAP modules, with strong preference for Sales & Supply Chain (SD, MM, PP, QM) and working knowledge of FI/CO
• Proven expertise in SAP S/4
  
  HANA architecture, integrations, SAP BTP, Cloud ALM, and security frameworks
• Demonstrated success delivering complex SAP programs for U.S. enterprise customers
• Strong understanding of SAP operations including incident, problem, change, and release management
• Experience leading AMS, small enhancements, and project delivery in a global onsite/offshore model
• Ability to manage client relationships, lead governance forums, and communicate complex topics clearly to senior stakeholders
• Experience handling escalations, crisis management, and high‑pressure delivery scenarios
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes and Agile delivery methodologies
• SAP certifications (SAP Functionals on SD, MM, PP, QM) and industry experience in Manufacturing, Utilities, Energy, or Chemical sectors preferred
