SAP FICO Senior Systems Analyst

What you’ll do:

Exciting opportunity for an SAP FICO Senior System Analyst! Collaborating closely with the Product Owner, this role involves designing, modeling, configuring, and implementing SAP ERP software and process solutions to align with specific business needs.

• Analyze business and system processes to identify areas for enhancement, leveraging standard Eaton software and processes.
• Active involvement in implementations and offering third-level support when needed.
• Proficiency in driving regional solutions and ensuring auditable controls that comply with business and control standards, all within the SAP Governance framework.

The Analyst will cover various FI & CO processes including Financial Accounting, General Ledger, Tax, AP, AR, Local GAAP, Asset Accounting, as well as Cost Centre and Profit Centre Accounting, Activity Based Accounting, Result & Profitability Accounting also covering SAP eDocument Framework, and integration with other SAP Modules such MM, SE, PP.

• Responsible for in-depth functional & business process knowledge of target application.
• Ensures S/4
  
  HANA best practices are adopted, including Universal Journal, Fiori apps, and embedded analytics.
• Work in partnership with divisional and regional business process owners on system requirements, processes, and systems.
• Manages requirements scope & disposition through process compliance & gap analysis, integration testing & user acceptance methodology.
• Provide knowledge and input on the system implications of business process changes.
• Help to identify consolidated, worldwide target processes especially in cases where differences exist between ECC and S4.
• Demonstrates analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.
• Applies project methodology and governance processes to the change control, system development life cycle and regression testing.
• Support end to end processes and has intermediate level understanding of system touch points.
• Works with the global governance team to ensure proposed solutions are in-line global solutions.
• Participate in business process improvement committees as needed.
• Strong communication skills - able to interact with senior level leaders at divisional or regional level. Able to explain complex system issues and decision points using common business language (without using IT terms and language).

• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum seven (7) years in SAP configuration and implementation with at least two (2) years in SAP S/4
  
  HANNA.
• Strong knowledge of the following:
  • S/4 Universal Journal
  • Fiori apps related to Finance & Controlling

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

• Experience in all cross functional modules and integrations.
• Material Ledger & Product Costing.
• Experience with SAP Project Systems (PS), including project structures (WBS/Networks), settlement processes, budgeting, cost planning, and integration with FI/CO.
• Tax engines (Vertex, Onesource, etc.).
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles.
