Endpoint Applications Specialist for its Technology Team. This role is based in various offices and may be performed remotely, reporting to the Endpoint Applications Manager. Position Summary
The Endpoint Applications Specialist evaluates, customizes, implements, administers, and provides Tier 3 support for all core firm endpoint applications and upgrades. Responsibilities include Microsoft Office 365 products, PDF software, document productivity tools, SaaS applications, and team‑assigned tools.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate, deploy, manage, and support assigned applications at the enterprise level
- Create project plans, set schedules, and execute application rollouts and upgrades
- Perform product and system analyses/testing and present recommendations to management
- Reconfigure or customize applications to satisfy user requirements
- Collaborate with users, specialists, and system engineers to address issues or enhance workflow procedures
- Prepare documentation for projects including user and business requirements
- Communicate product updates and technical specifications to diverse audiences
- Maintain and develop in‑house macros, customizations, and tools
- Create low‑code process flows using Microsoft Power Automate, UIPath, or similar RPA tools
- Provide Tier 3/subject‑matter‑expert support for core applications
- Deliver presentations to various stakeholders as assigned by the Endpoint Applications Manager
- Appear on camera for meetings with colleagues and vendors
- Perform other duties as directed by the Endpoint Applications Manager
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365 Applications
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Office document creation and recovery
- Familiarity with automation languages such as VB, Power Shell, Python, JavaScript, and JSON
- Comfortable working with SQL query language
- Experience with document management systems, document comparison/metadata applications, and legal macro packages
- Experience managing Windows Registry and Group Policy
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices
- Basic understanding of AI, its risks, and implementation, familiarity with Copilot for M365
- Familiarity with firewalls, VPN, intrusion detection, encryption technologies
- Familiarity with project‑management processes, managing priorities, and meeting deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to build client relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and collaboration tools
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience
- Minimum two years’ experience in applications testing, configuration, deployment, administration, and support
- A+, Net+, Microsoft Office User Specialist certifications (plus)
