We’re looking for a Palantir Foundry Developer to work on innovative solutions that support Jacobs’ diverse range of projects and programs around the globe. In this role, you will be a lead developer on various Foundry‑built solutions, making integrations into client systems, incorporating AI/LLMs into solutions, and managing solution deployments. You will work with a diverse team of Program/Project Managers, a global team of Palantir developers (Foundry and AIP), and the Digital & Data team at Jacobs.

The chosen candidate will become a member of the Digital & Data team at Jacobs, helping drive innovation in technical project work for our clients in collaboration with subject matter experts, technologists, engineers, data scientists, project managers, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Support the process of analyzing, estimating, modeling, testing, and deploying assigned requirements.
  • Work with clients (internal and external) to understand business requirements.
  • Create applications and code.
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI models using LLMs.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines.
  • Identify and troubleshoot application quality and performance concerns.
  • Incorporate testing and QA of functionality prior to delivery.
  • Collaborate with other sprint team members and management to facilitate project goals.
  • Proactively identify and escalate risks, issues, and other problems, reporting status to the management team.
  • Debug, monitor, troubleshoot solutions, and recommend optimizations.
  • Support the documentation of technical specifications.
  • Cross‑collaborate between markets, variable business units, and geographies (global time zones).
  • Work with global product teams to develop innovative solutions and products in Palantir Foundry.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years’ experience with Python and React.
  • 2+ years’ experience with Palantir Foundry.
  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, Software Engineering/Development, Software Architecture, etc.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong coder with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, Type Script/JavaScript, or similar.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Palantir’s Carbon and AIP.
  • Experience with RAG, Prompt Engineering, and LLM tuning techniques.
  • Experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, and/or Data Science.
  • Experience integrating systems through APIs or other techniques.
  • Strong engineering background, preferred in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, and Data Science.
  • Proficiency in React.
  • Familiarity with Ontology SDK (OSDK).
