We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong experience in ETRM/CTRM systems to join a global team supporting energy and commodity trading operations. This role involves designing, developing, and delivering technology solutions that enable efficient and compliant trading processes.
You will work across the full software development lifecycle, including defect fixes, enhancements, and special projects, using modern Dev Ops practices. The position also includes supporting turnkey/SaaS solutions, prototyping new technologies, and collaborating with third‑party vendors for system changes and upgrades.
Key Responsibilities- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software enhancements and fixes.
- Support all phases of the software development lifecycle (requirements, coding, testing, deployment, production support).
- Configure and enhance ETRM/CTRM systems (e.g., Open Link Endur).
- Work with third-party vendors to implement changes and upgrades.
- Support end‑to‑end testing, deployment, and post‑deployment validation.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, sustainable, and compliant with enterprise standards.
- Participate in global team activities, including scrum calls and process improvement initiatives.
- 5–7 years of corporate IT experience, ideally in ETRM/CTRM environments
. - Full lifecycle software development experience.
- Strong background in application support and change management.
- Experience with trade capture, risk management, scheduling, and settlements workflows.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Hands‑on experience with Open Link Endur (v11+).
- Endur development using JVS and Open Components
. - Programming experience in Java
, .NET
, SQL
, PL/SQL
. - Strong knowledge of Oracle Database and Informatica
. - Familiarity with Connex
, Grid Enabled Scripts
, Operation Services
, and Endur’s Trade Process Management (TPM). - Understanding of software design principles, coding standards, and quality management.
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops tools (VSTS, GIT).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a global team and manage multiple delivery priorities.
- Proactive, detail‑oriented, and adaptable to changing business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
