Our client is seeking a motivated Desktop Support Technician to join their growing team in Houston.

As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be the primary point of contact for our team's technological needs, reporting directly to the Desktop Support Manager. You will ensure our hardware, software, and network infrastructure remain seamless to support our daily operations and long-term growth.

Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 per year

- End-User Support:
Act as the primary lead for all IT Help Desk communications, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues promptly. - Infrastructure Maintenance:
Perform network troubleshooting and maintain connectivity to ensure zero downtime for facility operations. - Cloud Administration:
Manage and optimize M365 environments and user permissions. - Lifecycle Management:
Oversee updates for internal software and applications, ensuring all systems are secure and current. - Training & Documentation:
Develop user-friendly training materials for employees to ease the transition to new hardware or software. - Collaborative Projects:
Work closely with the broader IT department to execute large-scale technological initiatives and company goals.
- Education/
Experience:
B.S. in Computer Science, a STEM-related field, or equivalent hands‑on professional experience. - Remote Management:
Proven experience managing devices via Remote Desktop Sessions (RDS). - OS & Productivity:
Strong proficiency in Windows administration and the M365 suite. - Networking:
Practical experience setting up and troubleshooting basic LAN networks. - Autonomy:
Demonstrated ability to manage tasks effectively without constant direct supervision.
